Patterns are a fun way to add color and texture. One of my favorite ways to decorate is with pops of color. Keep your main large pieces such as couches, curtains and wall colors neutral. That way you can add fun pops of color with your accent pieces such as pillows, decor and paintings. I love to switch things up a lot and it keeps me from breaking the bank. Incorporate All of Your Colors
Do not forget the solids, especially in a room with a bold color palette. Patterns tend to pop in a room that has a neutral furnishings such as a neutral wall or solid couch. Balance is key!

Do Not Be Afraid
Best tip I have is to experiment, one thing I always tell my clients, "If you love it, get it!" You can always make it work. I know there are "rules" to matching patterns just remember to keep scale and color in mind when you are on the hunt for your new accessories.
